What are some careers for English majors?

I am majoring in English and minoring in Journalism and will be graduating in one year. I know that people think there aren't many possibilities out there, but it is more about skills I have that can be transferred to another job. Like could I have a chance in advertising? I know some include Public Relations, technical writer, editor positions, and marketing coordinator but what are some other things i could do? Also what are the best cities? Would Seattle or Boston be good for someone with my degree?
