What do you think of my short story?

American football is not my thing and neither is English football come to that and I am English. However I read your story and the writing is fine. The dialogue is a bit strange to me as is it is obviously in the local dialect and I couldn't make up my mind whether the person telling the story was black or white. The tragedy is that there are people out there who think like the coach in your story. Time is too short and the world is too small for idiots who think like he does. Football may not be my scene but the story is very readable. Good luck with it.
