A manager quoted me the wrong rate and now after being hired it's different?

just tell em $8.50 instead of $9.50 so the person can keep their job and put in a good word for you or something because ur sure thats what they meant right? i mean they person tried to help you out so mauybe u can do that for them. its entirely up to you tho
