LeBron James made Mike Brown, so why is LA hiring this cancer?

You are forgetting the most important thing. Mike Brown is going to have way more collective talent to work with than he did in Cleveland. He has a superstar in Kobe, like he did in Lebron, but he also has some very good players in Gasol, Odom, and Bynum. He didn't have anybody of that caliber when he was in Cleveland. I don't disagree with your argument that he is not a great offensive coach (Nor do I think anyone has painted him to be that - His claim to fame is he is a good defensive coach), but I am not convinced that without a couple roster moves and a different voice that the Lakers can't be one of the top 3 teams in the NBA next year.
