Is it true that Nehru got it off with Mountbatten's wife and possibly also with Mountbatten?

I have been reading the biography of Mountbatten which indicates it was public knowledge that Nehru was servicing Mrs. Mountbatten. But there are also hints that Nehru and Mountbatten were getting it off. If this is true, is this also the source of rumors of the pederastic relationship between Mountie and Chuck?
