Children in second language! help needed please?

If I were you in your position, i would not send my child to a "special" school as by the sounds of it she doesn't need to go and she would be placed with children with much worse learning/social difficulties and she doesn't sound as if she has any difficulties. I believe that it may just be a confidence thing and that she will soon settle in :) I would also not recommend sending her to a "special" school as it may socially isolate her from her main peers.
