Does the state of Texas charge taxes on Services?

I am looking to become an event planner/coordinator but I am unsure of how taxes work for this type of business. Since I will not be buying any goods for the clients do I need to tax them on top of the regular package price? Any advice on starting up this type of business would be awesome. I already have experience in the field I am just a bit shabby on the legal side of it. Thanks
